Required fields, evidence, data-carrier rules and effective dates are versioned separately. Existing products retain the pack that governed them until a controlled migration.
A battery passport connects a specific battery with controlled information across its working life. Preparation starts with deciding which battery you place on the market and which organisation maintains its record. A catalogue entry alone cannot explain changes during use, repair or a second-life operation.
Passvanta currently supports the battery passport end to end. The categories below are documented and tracked, but are not yet available to work in.
Passvanta separates the legal status of a regulation from the maturity of its software pack. Preparation packs support data readiness and never represent certification or a final legal assessment.
